Vu holds a BSc Economics from London School of Economics and MSc Finance from Cambridge University. Vu qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with KPMG London; and he is also a CFA Charterholder

Before joining SGI Capital, Phuc managed a $40 million portfolio at IPAAM Fund that delivered a remarkable 61% return in 2008-2009, having held various management positions at VNDirect and IPAAM.

In the 10 years that Phuc led investment activities at SGI Capital, its funds have consistently outperformed the market. He has built a strong team with an effective system to screen and evaluate investment opportunities, as well as to assess market risks.

Phuc is highly regarded in the domestic investment community thanks to his active sharing and contributing in various seminars, forums, and articles for reputable magazines including Forbes Vietnam, Saigon Economic Times, Vietnam Economic Times – on topics of macroeconomics, stock market, investment opportunities and personal finance.

Phuc holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Management from Tilburg University, the Netherlands and an MBA from the University of Greenwich, UK.

Being a dedicated financial expert, Son has a strong background of almost 20 years successfully implementing financial advising, wealth management, investment and financial strategies to achieve individual and business success.

He has led numerous research and consultancy projects for the firm and provided important directions in identifying effective investment opportunities. His favorite maxim: “In investing, fundamental and technical analysis are just necessary conditions. The sufficient condition is to firmly grasp the psychology of the market”.

Currently, Mr. Chau is a senior analyst at Ho Chi Minh City Securities Company (HSC), consulting on derivatives (index futures) and market assessment strategies since 2018. He played a key role in the design of the Finashark cash flow detection system, which is managed by CMA Trading Ltd.

Prior to that, he was a senior analyst at FxPro Financial Services, with the role of a foreign exchange market investment strategy consultant since 2016. He also has experience in constructing a global cash flow data analysis system as a forex strategist and financial data analyst at Nextop Co., Japan since 2013.

He is fully responsible for budget planning, financial controlling, capital raising, financial reporting and MIS for the bank. He is also member of VCB ALCO, VCB Investment Committee, VCB – Mizuho Cooperation Committee, VCB Science Council… and PD/PM for some important transformation projects of Vietcombank (MPA, ALM.FTP, ERP, IFRS9, eInvoice….).

Trieu has more than 20 year experience in financial and investment, in which Trieu has more than 13 years with Eastspring Vietnam. At Eastspring Vietnam, Trieu has been in charge of the Equity and Fixed Income investment since 2010, and was CIO from 2015.

Previously, Trieu has served for Prudential Vietnam Assurance Private Limited from 2002 to 2006 as an Actuary. Before that time, Trieu worked for Arthur Andersen Auditing firm in Vietnam and Vietnam Eximbank.

He holds a Master’s degree in International Project Management from Skema Business School in France, an MBA from Center of French-Vietnamese Management Institution (CFVG), a BA in Corporate Finance from HCMC University of Economics and a BA in Foreign Economics from Vietnam Foreign Trade University. Trieu is a CFA charterholder and holds the Fund Management Practice License issued by State Securities Commission of Vietnam.

Truong holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Technical University of Berlin (Germany).

In 2016, he joined Dragon Capital as an investment analyst covering real estate and construction.

Before joining VinaCapital, Hieu served as Financial Advisory Director of Deloitte Vietnam, acting as buy-side and sell-side advisor for over 50 transactions across multiple sectors including real estate, retail and infrastructure. During 2014-2016 period, Hieu was Vingroup’s Head of M&A, he commanded a series of strategic M&A transactions and contributed significant milestones in Vingroup’s  effort to become the largest conglomerate in Vietnam.

Hieu graduated from Macquirie University with the Double Degree of Business Administration and Information System. He also holds an Executive MBA degree of Shidler College of Business, University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Trung has more than 20 years of senior leadership at leading Vietnam-based financial institutions, investment funds, and technology corporations, including Techcombank (HOSE:TCB) and FPT (HOSE:FPT).
